The Macau unit of the Ivo10 Brazil Football Academy has partnered with Macau Chiba FC for the 2023 Macau League – 2nd Division. With this initiative, executive manager William Gomes now offers the Academy's elite athletes another path of total immersion in the world of football with the opportunity to participate in professional (senior) competitions. The agreement took place through Sou Chan U Miguel, executive director of the team.

Still within the agreement between Ivo10 Brazil and Macau Chiba, manager William Gomes assumes the role of coach of the 2nd Division team. With extensive experience in football, both as a striker still active for Ching Fung and as a coach for the Academy's elite teams and also for the normal class, Gomes is the right name for the role.

The deal is already in effect and the debut of Macau Chiba FC / Ivo10 Brazil in the Macau League will take place on Sunday (12th), at 6 pm, at the U.M. Stadium against U.M. . For the first match, six Ivo10 players were called up: Salankar, goalkeeper; Ruca and Thomas, defenders; Miguel, attacking midfielder; Andre, striker; and Marius So, captain of the 2022 U16 Macau League won by Ivo10 Brazil.

Some veterans who worked for Ivo10 Brazil as an athlete – and now as technical assistants – will also join the Macau Chiba FC squad in the Macau League dispute. They are Alex Shaw, Patrick and Silvino.

Executive director William Gomes spoke about the union of teams. “Our partnership exists to give the opportunity to Ivo10 Brazil athletes who were already standing out in the Under-16 and Under-19 teams to play in a major league. Give these boys the opportunity to play, to pick up the pace. Respecting all the processes of development and evolution of a professional, world-class player, we didn't want to take them straight to the first division. So we chose to give them experience and opportunity to start playing in the 2nd division and, thus, be physically and psychologically prepared so that, in the coming years, they can debut playing in the first division of Macau”, he said.

“Chiba has been a partner team for some years now and it collaborates in favor of young players in Macau and also in the development of football in Macau. And for that, I would like to thank Sou Chan U Miguel, Su, who is a great collaborator and encourager of ours”, concluded the executive manager of Ivo10 Brazil, and now also a coach at Chiba Macau, William Gomes.

CSR Sports, partner of the Ivo10 Brazil Football Academy project and which has businessman César Soler as a co-founder alongside Ivo and William Gomes, also participates in the agreement between the Academy and Chiba.
